This marks a crucial milestone for both companies in Indonesia – Southeast Asia’s biggest internet economy - reinforcing their commitment to the market. This is part of InMobi and Glance’s larger expansion across Southeast Asia.

Glance is an AI-powered smart lock screen that gives consumers premium, personalised experiences on their Android smartphone lock screens. These experiences are driven by Glance’s partnerships with top publishers, developers, and creators. With Glance, consumers stay connected with what is most relevant to them easily and efficiently - without needing to download apps, search for content, and even without unlocking their smartphones. In a little over two years since its launch in Indonesia, Glance has amassed over 30 million active consumers here and partnered with over 60 publishers.

As part of its expansion in Indonesia, Glance plans to bring more new experiences and formats to the lock screen in the coming quarters. Glance is looking to onboard more than 100 streamers across categories over the next quarter to power LIVE experiences. The platform has already piloted LIVE streams that have seen strong engagement. For instance, in May, Glance transformed smartphone lock screens into the most happening destination for LIVE sports, by streaming content from the SEA Games, 2023, held in Cambodia. Over a million Glance consumers experienced real-time, interactive content during the 15-day event on their lock screen. Glance is also launching LIVE Creator Battle – Campus Edition on June 15, 2023, across 5 top university campuses in Jakarta. Through this, Glance aims to discover hundreds of new LIVE streamers in categories including sports, music, fitness, K-pop and more over a two-month period. Over the next year, Glance is aiming to reach 50 million consumers in the country. Globally, the platform has over 230 million active consumers.
