Several key factors influenced my decision to transition from a consultant to a full-time employee. The projects I worked on as a consultant were challenging and impactful, giving me a sense of accomplishment and purpose. One significant experience was during the “Glance LIVE Fest” in my initial days with the social media team. The energy, collaborative work, and abundant growth opportunities were incredibly appealing. Witnessing the direct impact of our work on the audience and the company was a strong motivator. Transitioning to a full-time role also offered stability and security, which was important for my long-term planning.
How have you grown professionally since joining the company, and how has the company supported your career development?
Since joining the company, I have grown professionally in numerous ways. While working on the social media team, I had the opportunity to explore the field of SEO, and there has been no looking back since then. The trust and confidence the leadership team placed in me significantly boosted my own confidence. SEO requires ongoing effort, and it is rewarding to be recognized for the impact of those efforts. Recently, I was honored as a “Real Star” for the significant impact made through my SEO work. This recognition reflected the company's culture of acknowledging and celebrating individual contributions that contribute to the collective success of the team. This acknowledgment has further motivated me to continue striving for excellence in my SEO efforts and contribute positively to the company's goals.
How has your journey been from a consultant to a full-time employee?
For more than a year, I worked as a consultant at Glance, focusing primarily on social media. During this period, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, diving deep into the intricacies of social media strategies and campaigns. Despite my achievements, the journey was nail-biting. Moreover, my dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed. I continued to push forward, learning and growing with each project.
My persistence paid off when I was offered the opportunity to transition from a consultant to a full-time employee. This moment marked a significant turning point in my career. The transition was both tense and exhilarating, filled with challenges and triumphs. Now, as a full-time employee, I have moved into the SEO department, embracing a new set of responsibilities and learning opportunities. Reflecting on my journey, I feel grateful for the experiences that shaped me and the support I received along the way. This transition has been both rewarding and transformative, and I am excited about what the future holds.
